Congratulations to Commander Travis Vizier, one of our CRNAS, who recently returned home from a year overseas defending our country. Thank you for your service to your country! A welcome home party was held in his honor on August 7th at his home in Madison.

  

Even though our graduation ceremony did not take place this year due to Covid restrictions, our annual departmental awards were still given out. Congratulations to Drs. Renee Marchgiani and Marty Waddell who were awarded the resident citizenship awards. Dr. Justin Pipkins was awarded Resident of the Year, and Dr. Matthew Zarth was awarded Colleague of the Year. Drs. Oscar Alam-Mendez and Patrick Newman were awarded Teachers of the Year for the Residency.
